About the BLCE
Incorporated in 1989 the Black Leadership Council for Excellence (BLCE) is a 501©(3) non-profit organization providing services in Charles County, Maryland.
The BLCE has three major program divisions:
Youth
Arts
Action
BLCE’s Mission
The mission of the BLCE is to empower youth and community organizations by providing programs and technical assistance in the areas of the arts, and civic participation.
BLCE’s Motto
Our motto is Building Leadership, Celebrating Excellence.
BLCE’s Primary Objectives
The primary objectives of the BLCE include: developing youth leadership skills, developing youth career awareness, and developing youth appreciation of history, culture and the arts.
